The Imperial Hotel Gunnedah (affectionately known as ‘The Impy’) stands proudly on the corner of Chandos and Barber Streets and first opened its wooden doors to thirsty punters and the community at large in 1878.
The ‘Distinguished Gentleman’ of Gunnedah’s pub scene, the Imperial Hotel prides itself on being a neighbourhood establishment - a Pub for the People - where locals and visitors come together for an ice cold frothy, to share a yarn or two and for good times.
